Caribbean Herb Seasoning

Step by Step Instructions

This seasoning placed in slits in the meat poultry or fist and left for a few hours intensifies the flavour of what ever you are cooking as well as assisting in tenderising the meat or poultry.

INGREDIENTS
2 oz Thyme
2 oz Spring Onion
1 oz Oregano
2 oz Pepper
1 ts Salt
1 tb Garlic
2 oz Basil
3 tb Corn Oil

 

Step 1

Mill the thyme, oregano, pepper, garlic, spring onion then stir in the salt and corn oil.  Once made, if stored in an airtight container, it will last in the fridge for up to six months provided that only clean utensils are used.  Use when required.
